Mr. Madan “K. C.” Khatri Chhetri is a true embodiment of courage, skill, and selflessness. His extraordinary career as an aviator and military officer has left an indelible mark on Nepal's history and the field of aviation. Born in 1955 in Pokhara, Nepal, his early passion for flying set the stage for a lifetime of remarkable achievements.
At just 19, Mr. KC joined the Army Officers Cadet Course, where his exceptional performance earned him the prestigious Sword of Honour as the top cadet. His military career was marked by rigorous training, including Commando, Para Jump, and Counterinsurgency courses, which honed his skills and prepared him for the challenges ahead. By the age of 24, he was selected as an Army Officer Aviator, a role that would define his legacy.
Mr. KC's expertise in aviation was further developed through training in the United States, Great Britain, France, and Thailand. His mastery of various aircraft, including the Bell 47G2, Bell 206, Alouette III, Puma, and Ecureuil AS350 B2, enabled him to undertake some of the most daring rescue missions in the Himalayas.
Madan Kc Foundation is an initiative taken to complete projects that can inspire everyone towards aviation industry and preservation of religious beliefs.
